Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Spoke (spoke.ninja), operated by Spoke Ninja, part of 1010 Group ("Spoke", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Spoke, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Spoke.
What Spoke is
Spoke is a journal and analytics tool for options traders who run the wheel strategy. It records your trades, groups them into wheels, and shows figures such as premium collected, cost basis, capital in use and progress toward your goals.
Spoke is not financial advice. Spoke is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser or tax adviser. Its numbers, analysis, candidate lists and other content are for information only, and are not recommendations to buy or sell anything. Options trading carries substantial risk, including the loss of more than your premium. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions.
Accuracy
Spoke's figures depend on data from your broker, market-data providers and what you enter. That data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and our calculations can contain errors. Always confirm positions, balances and tax figures with your broker's official statements before acting on them.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Spoke.
- You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for keeping it secure.
- Tell us at trading@1010.group if you think someone else has accessed your account.
Broker connections
Connecting a broker is optional. If you connect Charles Schwab, you authorize Spoke to read your account data using your own Schwab developer app. Spoke never places trades or moves money. You are responsible for following your broker's own terms, and you can disconnect at any time.
Your data
Your trading records belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run Spoke for you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- access another person's account or data;
- try to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer Spoke's security or systems;
- use Spoke for anything unlawful; or
- resell or redistribute Spoke or its market data without our written permission.
Fees
Spoke is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price in advance, and you will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan.
Changes and availability
We may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep Spoke running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use Spoke afterwards means you accept the new terms.
Ending your use
You can stop using Spoke at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put Spoke or other users at risk.
Disclaimers
Spoke is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Spoke Ninja and 1010 Group are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of Spoke. Our total liability for any claim relating to Spoke is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.
